Air Freight is the transportation of cargo by aircraft. In CargoNext, the Air Freight module manages: Sales Quote → Air Booking → Air Shipment → Air Consolidation → Master Air Waybill → Billing.

Industry terms: AWB (Air Waybill), ULD (Unit Load Device), Chargeable Weight, IATA, Dangerous Goods (DG).

2. Key Concepts

Chargeable Weight: max(gross weight, volumetric weight). Volumetric = volume(cm³)/6000 (IATA).

ULD: Pallets, containers for aircraft. Define in ULD Type.
